GOQii has also partnered with Max Hospital for a new heart care service that allows users to connect to cardiovascular specialists via GOQii app.

GOQii is paying a lot of attention to cardiovascular health with its new product. The company has launched a new wearable device called the GOQii Heart Care Tracker, which is essentially the fitness tracker embedded with a heart-rate sensor. Along with the tracker, the company has also launched a new GOQii Heart Care service. Which means, that along with the purchase of the tracker, the company will provide cardiovascular health care service at a subscription Rs 2,999 for 6 months, and Rs 3,999 for 12 months. Essentially, GOQii has partnered with Max Hospital for its heart care service that allows users to connect to cardiovascular specialists via GOQii app.

In order use the heart care service, users have to share their health and heart rate data via GOQii tracker with the GOQii Doctor for his analysis. The doctor will go through this data and provide specific inputs to the users on how to maintain good heart health. In specific cases, if required, the doctor will refer the user to a cardiac specialists at Max Hospital and other partner hospitals.

“Today, too many devices are generating lots of data which is essentially junk if not analysed and acted upon. The GOQii Heart Care is an one stop solution that tracks and analyses data generated by the Heart Rate trackers and can connect the GOQii user to doctor who can help make sense of the data. It is a unique offering as compared to any other wearable device or service available in the market,” Vishal Gondal, CEO and Founder, GOQii said.

“Heart related diseases are on the rise due to lifestyle choices people make and they don’t generally pay attention to their health. The GOQii Heart Care is an exclusive platform that connects the users and the specialists and enables them to work together towards preventative healthcare,” Rohit Kapoor, Senior Director & Chief Growth Officer at Max Healthcare said.

Earlier this year, GOQii launched its upgraded smartband in India, and enhanced its ecosystem with partnerships with health-related services like Thyrocare, and Max Healthcare among others, and also introduced new services like GOQii Doctor, GOQii Diagnostics, GOQii Health Locker, and GOQii HRA. GOQii got qualified physicians on its ecosystem, who can be consulted based on a user’s fitness data. The GOQii HRA or Health Risk Assessment feature monitors a user’s fitness data and lifestyle and generates a comprehensive report. Based on the report, a doctor could be assigned to the user. In case a doctor recommends a diagnostic test, user can also book a lab test from Thyrocare via the app. Alternatively, if the user needs to undergo a more detailed consultation, the app also lets them book appointments with doctors at Max hospitals.
