The Augmented App
There are generally two problems that people face when they take pictures using their smartphones:
You have to keep the phone parallel with the document’s surface. This is the only way to prevent skewed and distorted images.
Also it is difficult to constantly hold the phone steady when capturing, as a little shake will result in an out of focus image.
The first problem is solved by the SelfieBrick. The SelfieBrick App and its Augmented Reality will solve the second problem. The App also provides numerous additional benefits like

uploading them into the proper folder of one of the cloud services
multi-category classification and other numerous additions
When used with the Smart Personal Cloud, the App can automate a number of time consuming tasks. For example, when doing a comparative market research of a product, people often make bookmarks of similar products to create a list of candidates (Web pages) for a final review later.
Instead of multi-step process and time consuming bookmark search, the App uses a single swipe to copy the Web page, assign categories and store it in the database. All this without leaving the page!
Just like scanning books naturally, browsing the Web and saving pages in dedicated groups, is easy and natural.
You can point the Augmented Reality buttons at anything and have the App capture and send pictures automatically anywhere.

Using patent-pending technology, the App can monitor “hot” areas defined by the position of the Augmented Reality Buttons relative to the pointed at image. Whether it is a desk below or a group of people doing a selfie snapshot at a distance, the change within the “hot” area will trigger the corresponding action (a snapshot or a file upload, email, classification).

Smart Personal Cloud
The Smart Personal Cloud integrated with the Android App, is a multi-user distributed system to digitize, secure, organize and/or combine digital content into virtual multi-page files. The original file remain intact when stored in the database. Having disparate files appear as pages of a single logical file is a unique convenient feature that saves time and is appreciated by current users. There are unlimited number of user created categories of multiple types with privacy attributes makes it easy to find documents while protecting privacy. It is supported on the Windows 8/7/XP.
