With banking transactions increasing day by day, technologists have come up with great ways to make payments to retailers easy. It all started off with smartcards to replace your debit and credit cards. Innovation has reached to a whole new level, with the so called Kerv. The Kerv claims to be The World’s First Contactless Payment Ring! The flimsy smartcards are now going to replaced by smart rings. No card, PIN, bank account or smartphone required. Now you can make payments with a single gesture.

Kerv | How does it work?
The Kerv comes with a secure NFC contactless payment chip. The chip gets activated when brought close to a contactless reader that is available with the retailers, in taxis or on public transport. The Kerv is treated just like any other contactless payment card. The card reader reads the encrypted data on the chip and authorises the transaction. Funds will br withdrawn from your Kerv prepaid account. The transaction details are logged, always keeping you on top of your balance through the Kerv app or the secure website. Kerv’s sleek outer shell is made from zirconia technical ceramic, which is lightweight, hypoallergenic and one of the hardest and most scratch-resistant materials on the planet. On the inside, Kerv is finished with a gorgeously lustrous, inert hard resin, forming a waterproof seal over the electronic components. The resin is contoured in a “comfort fit” profile, which means you can wear Kerv all day, every day and you’ll barely notice it’s there.
Initially, it will come in the ten most popular ring sizes – across both men and women. You can wear Kerv on any finger you like – including your thumb (or your toes, if you’ve got decent circus skills) – so one of them’s bound to fit somewhere!
Kerv| Security
The Kerv is designed to make payments only limited to a small radius of the contactless reader. This is done to avoid any unintended transfer of data or funds.
Kerv transactions compared to other contactless payment networks are as secure as using Chip and PIN.Your purchase data is always encrypted and because Kerv never leaves your finger, the risk of cloning or theft is significantly reduced.
The Kerv account is super-secure, as it provides you with all the tools you need to add further layers of security to your transactions. You can switch your rings or cards on and off manually – or automatically with timers – and you can easily control the types of retailers at which Kerv can and can’t be used. Your account also lets you set transaction alerts and balance updates, so you’ll always be on top of your account activity.
Kerv | Availability
