Root ZTE Axon 7 and Install TWRP Recovery
Step 1: Before starting you must backup all of your data to your pc. Backup all the application, photos, music, and all other important data you might have on your device. Now charge your Mobile phone to 80 % to ensure safety for you device and just in setting select apps can be downloaded from unknown sources.

Step 3: Enable Developer Options in you Android device Just tap the Build Number 7 times in setting in About Phone option. Now in Developer option Enable Usb Debugging and OEM Unlocking options. Now you can connect your device to your PC using a Usb cable.
Step 4: There is a small update file for ZTE Axon 7. Now update 18B to 20B OTA File from your mobile update file or your can download file from here and insert in internal memory of your phone and go in recovery and install the update.
Step 5: Now download Minimal ADB and Fastboot from here and unlock Bootloader first from here and download TWRP Recovery from here . Extract the Minimal ADB Setup on your PC and move the downloaded TWRP Recovery to the ADB Folder.
Step 6: Now rename the TWRP img file to Recovery.img and Connect your Phone to PC. Now open the ADB Folder in C drive and open Command Window by pressing Shift Key + Right Mouse Click.
Step 7: Now Reboot the phone into Bootloader and type the Command
adb reboot bootloader
Now the device will boot into Bootloader After that type this command
fastboot devices
Nowflash the recovery by typing this command
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
After that reboot your device and type the command
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Now disconnect your mobile phone and check the screen now you have successfully installed TWRP in your ZTE Axon 7.
Step 8: Now downloaded the SuperSu zip file from here and move the SuperSu file to the folder of your internal memory of your mobile phone.
Step 9: Now Boot your phone into recovery by by pressing
Volume Down + Power
Step 10 : Now open up the TWRP Recovery, and Click on the Install menu and Browse and Select the SuperSu folder in your mobile phone. Just select and Install SuperSu and you have done you have successfully Root your device. Thanks jkuczera for providing these information.
