Bangladesh Public Service Commission has issued 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) circular for the examination. There are total 1803 vacant posts. There are 455 posts for general cadres, 484 posts for technical cadres, 829 posts for general education cadres and 37 will be appointed as special education cadres of the vacant posts. Among the general cadre, about 300 seats will be recruited in administration, 89 in police and 16 in foreign affairs service through the BCS.

37 BCS New Rules
The new rules are expected to come into effect from the next BCS exam
A candidate with at least 30 percent marks in the written examination will be considered to have got no number against the existing rule of 25 percent.
The pass mark for the new system would be 50 percent of the 200 marks viva voce. It was 40 percent marks
