Shares of Active Health Foods Inc. (OTC: AHFD), maker of Active X™ 100% Organic Certified, 100% Natural, Kosher and Vegan Certified Energy Bars, are seeing a huge rally in Friday’s trading.
At last check, the penny stock of AHFD is 62.16% higher at $0.0060, with volume up from daily average of 2.58 million to 37.34 million. The stock gained 87.5% in the last three trading sessions.
Active Health Foods shares are soaring in today’s trading after the company announced that General Nutrition Centers Inc. (GNC) placed its first order for Active X Energy Bars in two flavors. AHFD said that it shipped the order on July 12, 2012 to GNC’s distribution centers in Arizona, South Carolina and Pennsylvania.
GNC, which focuses on retail sales of healthy and nutritious products, has more than 6,000 corporate owned and franchised stores across the U.S. and is considered as the premier health store chain in the country.
Greg Manos, president and CEO of Active Health Foods, said that receiving the first GNC order for Active X Almond Chocolate Delight and Peanut Butter Chocolate Joy Energy Bars represents a monumental opportunity for AHFD and signifies what the company hopes will be a long and beneficial relationship with GNC.
Active Health Foods also announced that it was featured in the Press Enterprise, a newspaper of the greater Inland Empire on June 24th, 2012. The company said that it will make the article, which also featured AHFD’s products, available on its website in the first week of August.
AHFD’s energy bars are made from a proprietary from a proprietary formula, which the company has developed in conjunction with a qualified Nutritionist. The energy bars are produced locally by a certified organic food manufacturer, which allows the company to maintain frequent and superior quality control over the production process.
