Yahoo Mail has introduced new features in its iOS and Android apps which claims to add in some personal touches to the Yahoo inbox. The iOS app has more updates than the Android one. The update will be available on iOS 4.5 and up and Android 5.6 and up.
For starters, in iOS you can now ‘Undo Send’ to recall an email immediately after you have accidentally hit send. Just below the Send button there will be an Undo button at the bottom of your Inbox feed which will be active for three seconds letting you the change to undo the sent mail.
Animations have got a new boost in the Yahoo Mail app for iOS with features such as animated Star button and wiggling Trashcan. On searching for contact, you will see contact cards with information such as picture, phone number and email history.
On the Android front, Yahoo Mail is bringing Stationery which will let you compose mails according to the occassion. Other features include document preview which lets you take a glimpse at the mail; home screen widgets which lets you see unread message count for all accounts and mailboxes; Disable swiping; spacing can be selected from super-dense to super-expanded.
