Snapdeal has announced the availability of the InFocus Buddy notebook that has been priced at Rs 14,999. The device is a low-powered notebook that comes with basic hardware specifications and the power of Microsoft’s Windows 10 all bundled into a sturdy package at a low price. The notebook will be available in gold and silver models and remain exclusive to Snapdeal.

The tablet indeed delivers Windows 10 on a budget. With that said, the device is manufactured by Foxconn so one could expect better build quality compared to similar priced offerings in the market. Coming to the specifications, users will be treated to a 13.3-inch HD display that supports eDP. Inside we get a 2.6GHz Intel Celeron processor based on the latest Braswell platform coupled with 2GB DDR3L RAM. Internal storage is limited to a 32GB eMMC and can be expanded using a 256GB SSD as well.  The system also includes a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

The notebook is 18mm thick, weighs 1.6 kgs and also features a single HDMI port and two USB 3.0 ports. While the capacity of battery has not been revealed, InFocus claims that the laptop will last for eight hours while viewing HD video.
