This festive season, where the other car companies are increasing the prices of their cars, Tata Cars have ensured that they don’t follow this norm and have slashed the prices of their very famous and popular Tata Indica’s refreshed version which is named as New Tata Indica EV2. ‘E’ stands for economical and it proves it with a reduction in the prices by Rs 23,000. There is new stylish look which the New Tata Indica EV2 pictures swear by and with all new exteriors and comfort seating. The exteriors have been developed with all new stylish headlamps, triple-step chrome tipped grille, new front bumper, sporty alloy wheels, the very stylish new rear spoiler which comes with integrated stop lamp, smoothing decals and the signature tail light cluster. The interiors haven’t got any changes and are same like the older version of the hit Tata Indica. These are a faux wood centre console in the top of the line LX trim and the interiors are subjected to beige upholstery. There are two new colors in EV2 – spicy red and sea blue.
The all new Tata Indica EV2 features makes it even more adoring and lovable with Clutch-To-Start and Auto-Drive-Assist qualities. The Clutch-To-Start feature makes sure that the engine can’t be cranked until the clutch is fully engaged. With this there is no risk of re-crank if the engine is on. The other feature Auto-Drive-Assist system ensures that the driver can easily shift his foot to the accelerator even if the foot is completely taken off the clutch with the Auto Drive Assist enabling that while climbing a gradient the engine will not stall. The New EV2 sets its standard in safety too with highly equipped steel in the sub-frame, the body shell adding muscle and strength. Its stability on highways is commendable and it can communicate the driving conditions with ease. There is the option of a stereo with USB and Bluetooth connectivity and it gets power windows to make the life of customers easy.
Tata Motors launches new Indica eV2 with mileage upto 25kmpl. The New EV2 comes in two variants, petrol and diesel and it goes even more economical with a reduction in price by Rs. 23,000. Its petrol variant is equipped with 1193 cc engine, which is able to produce 64.4 bhp power at 5000 rpm and 99.8 Nm torque at 2700 rpm. Petrol variant provides mileage ranging between 13 to 17 kmpl. On the other hand, its diesel engine is equipped with 1396 cc engine which is capable of producing 52.8 bhp power and 85 Nm of torque. It provides mileage ranging between 14-18 kmpl. The more equipped New Tata Indica EV2 price is falling in the range of Rs. 4.01 lakhs for the basic model to Rs. 4.87 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the high end models.
