The South Korean mobile manufacturer, Samsung mobiles is well known for launching affordable price smartphones in the Indian mobile segment. Earlier, the mobile maker has launched an impressive smartphone named as Samsung Galaxy Ace. Instead of rolling the Android ICS update the compoany is directly planning to launch the latest Android Jelly Bean update for this mid end smartphone. Currently, there was no confirmation regarding the exact launch date but it is expected to be rolled out in the month of October of this year. The weight of this touchscreen mobile phone is 122 gm and has the dimensions of 118.3 x 62.2 x 10.5 mm which is perfect to handle. The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 price in India is to be  Rs. 18,000. The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 features with a 3.8 inches wide PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen display supporting with 480 x 1280 pixels resolution and 16M colors. With its great pixel density of 246 ppi, the users can ensure a vivid and crisp display and better viewing experience. The smartphone is loaded with exciting sensors that includes Accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor and digital compass. The handset is initially boxed with an Android v2.3 Gingerbread operating system along with 800 MHz Dual core processor. The smartphone is also supported with a NovaThor U8500 chipset and Mali 400 MP graphic processing unit. The phone also features with document editor, image editor and organizer.



The mid end priced smartphone is enabled with a 5 megapixel camera with image resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels supporting with auto focus and LED flash features to ensure better image quality. The camera also features with Geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection. The camera is also capable to shoot high definition videos with resolution of 720 pixels at 30fps. The smartphone is also presented with a secondary VGA front facing camera to make video calling with your friends and family members. The mobile phone is enabled with messaging features like SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and Instant Messaging. The mobile phone is integrated with a 4 GB internal user memory and an additional RAM of 768 MB for better performance. The device is also enabled with an external microSD memory card which is expandable up to 32GB.



The device is powered  with 1500 mAh capacity standard Li-Ion battery which is capable of providing long talk time up to 16 hours 20 minutes and standby time up to 670 hours. The device connects to the internet via GPRS, EDGE, 3G connectivity support with HSDPA up to 14.4 Mbps and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot. The mobile phone also supports Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP and EDR and micro USB 2.0 to transfer and share data from other devices. The device is also enabled with NFC support. The model has social networking services like Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar and Google Talk.
