January’s teas are:
Rooibos Fruit Blend
Description:
It’s about time we mixed things up a bit by sending out a Rooibos based tea. Sometimes called red tea, rooibos comes from a red South African bush grown in the Cedarburg Mountain region north of Cape Town. It is rich in antioxidants and said to have many health benefits and is also naturally caffeine-free.
Tasting Notes:
Organic beetroot, ginger, orange peels and real raspberries combine to make for a soothing and delightful tea.
Instructions:
Excellent iced or hot. 1 oz makes a gallon. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
Herbal Balance Blend
Description:
Like all herbal teas, this is of course not actually a tea since it does not contain camellia sinensis leaves. Nevertheless, it is a wonderful blend of chamomile, peppermint, blackberry leaves, cinnamon bark, ginger, rose petals, licorice root and marigold.
About:
This blend was designed to not only promote health but also balance. This combination of herbs and spices might be used in India to center chakra levels.
Instructions:
1 oz makes a gallon. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
