The Higher Secondary School Certificate, also known as HSC, is a public examination taken by students of Intermediate College (Junior college) in Bangladesh, Pakistan and in the states of Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra and Goa in India. Intermediate colleges and high schools in Dhaka city and Islamic intermediate the colleges and high madrasah of greater Bengal were under the control of that board. An advisory board made by the director of public education department of greater Bengal was given the authority to govern the board.
