Classpeople are currently looking to recruit a number of teaching assistants to work with pupils on a one-to-one basis who have special needs or learning difficulties.

We are working closely with a number of average to large in size primary schools who have a demand for teaching assistants on a day to day, short term and long term basis.

We are looking for enthusiastic and empathetic practitioners who have experience working with pupils or adults with SEN or learning difficulties, and who are looking to use their skills and expertise to help pupils progress and develop with their learning.

Ideally you will have a NVQ Level 3 in Teaching support or an equivalent qualification and it is essential that you have undertaken similar work previously.

We are looking to recruit for a number of schools in Worcestershire who each have a demand for SEN teaching assistants.

One of the schools that we are recruiting for is much larger than an average primary school and was recently graded outstanding by Ofsted.

Pupils achieve well and make strong progress throughout their education at the school.

There is a highly positive approach to learning and teachers have high expectations of all lessons.

Teaching assistants are a valued and integral part of the school team and we are looking to recruit people who are keen to build strong links with the school and step in to cover requirements at the school as they arise.

This will comprise of day-to-day supply work, short term placements and longer term placements dependent upon the needs of the school.

As part of your role as a an SEN teaching assistant through Classpeople, you will be required to support pupils on a one-to-one basis ensuring that they have the opportunity to access the learning and to make good progress.

We are looking to recruit TA’s who would be comfortable working with either Foundation stage, KS1 or KS2 pupils.

You will be required to follow the planning that is put in place by the class teacher, motivating and engaging the pupil you are working with.

In some cases, you will required to support the pupil during breaks and lunchtime.

At the end of the day, you will need to leave feedback for the teacher/team that you are working with.

- Be a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant

- Have recent experience working with children in KS1/KS2 primary school setting

- Have experience working with children/adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
