Good morning, crafty friends! It's the most wonderful time of the year! Well, technically the 'most wonderful time of the year' is during the holiday season, but the second most wonderful time of the year is when we release our holiday stamps and dies! And that's this week!

The weather continues to change from day to day here in Iowa (hot...cold...hot...cold), but all this winter crafting has put me in the mood for some fresh powder, a warm fire, and a cup of hot cocoa! We're celebrating the holidays with 27 dies, 13 stamp sets, 3 embossing folders, a new 6x6 patterned paper pack, and 2 new colors of 100 lb. premium card stock!

The Baker's Dozen and I have three days to share our holiday inspiration with you! All of the new products will be available for purchase at the TE web store on Thursday, October 2nd at 7am PST. Before I start sharing today's new products and my own sneak peeks, would you like to see what's up for grabs by commenting on today's blog post?

Today we're giving away the Snow Globe A la Carte Stamp and coordinating Snow Globe die!

Enter to win by leaving a comment on this blog post before Wednesday, October 1st at 11:59pm PST. One entry per person. Each comment will also be automatically entered into our Grand Prize drawing for a $50 Gift Certificate to the TE Store! Just a reminder... our plastic embossing folders measure 4.5 x 5.75. They were specifically designed at this size to generously accommodate an entire A2 card front!

I love crafting for Christmas so I have several projects to share with you today! First, I'm super excited about the new Ready, Set, Snow stamp set with the coordinating Snow Globe die! Here's what I made:

The coordinating Snow Globe die is actually a set of 2 dies which makes it really versatile! The two dies come tabbed together, but can be separated so you have the choice of die-cutting just the outer edge of the snow globe or you can put the extra die piece inside in order to cut a 'framed' snow globe. If you choose to cut both the inner and outer frames, you'll have just what you need to create a shaker card as I did here.

I created the shaker element by adhering a piece of transparency over the opening and adding foam tape around the outer frame. Before gluing the piece to my card I dropped in several white and iridescent sequins from the Gingerbread Lane sequins collection. The patterned paper is from the Gingerbread Lane collection. I added some scoring to the background to imitate bead board and some wood washi tape from My Mind's Eye to finish it off:

My next project uses the Wishes on a Wire stamp set. I colored the image with Copics, added white liquid appliqué to the 'snowy parts' and finished it off with a 3D bow from Mini Mix & Match Bows. The patterned paper is from the Gingerbread Lane 6x6 Paper Pack (I'm loving the bright and festive colors!).

My last project for today is one using Campy Christmas. I loved the campers in the Happy Trails set so much that I wanted to create some festive campers for the holidays! Everything was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I colored the images with Copic markers.

I added silver brads to the wheel centers, glossy accents to the windows, and a little bit of 'on the road' washi tape by Queen & Company.
