Happy Monday, crafty friends! Do I have you wondering if that's a typo in the title of my post? I'm here to assure you that there's no mistake! Today I'm excited to introduce the latest addition to the TE Store... 50 trendy colors of scrumptious 100% Wool Felt to delight, dazzle, and die cut! Take a look for yourself:

I'm a touchy-feely crafter so when I got my hands on this gorgeous felt I instantly fell in love. Our dies cut through the felt like a warm knife through butter. And the results are stunning. Perfect cuts, perfect edges (no fraying), every time! Each roll measures 5" x 18" and is  priced at $3.50 so you can afford to choose more colors!

As soon as the felt arrived at our warehouse the ideas started spinning around in my head and today I finally get to share my projects with you. But first, let me tell you about the special introductory sale on our new felt!

When you purchase 5 or more rolls of felt (in any combination of colors) you'll automatically receive a 10% discount on all of the felt in your cart! No coupon code necessary... while supplies last. This special introductory offer ends at 11:59 pm CST on Sunday, June 15th.

** cannot be combined with any other offers**

And now for my projects! First, I wanted to create something simple by striping pieces of my favorite colors and then trimming with a shaped die to create a colorful resting place for my focal image:

I adhered an adhesive sheet to a scrap of paper, cut the felt into 1/2" strips, and placed them in the diagonal pattern onto the scrap paper/adhesive sheet. Then I trimmed the entire piece with Label Stacklets 8. This is the shape that happened to be out on my desk, but I'm excited to try this out with some of our other Label Stacklet shapes too!

On top of the striped felt shape I adhered the smaller photo frames from the Instant Photo Frames set and put a piece of wood patterned paper behind the opening. Then I trimmed the Flip Flops from felt, the little 'thong' portion from cardstock, and added a small Bumblebee Sprinkle to each one. The 'hello summer' sentiment is from the new Little Bits of Summer.

Felt colors: Raspberry Jam, Robin's Egg, Tiffany, Butter, Papaya, Persimmon

For my second project I chose four of my favorite colors and used them to die cut flowers and leaves. I find myself using felt for flowers on a lot of my projects so this is a more traditional use, but with beautiful results every time!

I trimmed the flowers with dies from Patio Party & Friendship Blooms and the leaves are from the die set Branches, Banner, and Blooms. I layered each flower together with thin foam squares.

After cutting my card base I stamped the sentiment and masked it with a cutout from Label Stacklets 7. I airbrushed around the masked sentiment to highlight it a little bit more. Then I arranged my flowers and leaves around the sentiment.

Felt Colors used: Peach, Flamingo, Aqua Mist, Split Pea

I hope you 'felt' inspired by my blog post (yes... lame pun)! Click here to see all 50 colors and pick our your favorites!
