For my first card I used the two products we're giving away today, All the Fixings with coordinating dies and the Pegboard die. Everybody needs a handy-man in their lives and for me that handy-man is my father-in-law. He has built countless things in our warehouse, refurbished an old wood entertainment center into a fabulous play kitchen for Madi, and in his most recent project he built a gallery wall like this one for me to put all our family pictures without having to hang frames on the walls. Thank heavens for Marv who can bring all my Pinterest dreams to life!

Speaking of Pinterest, during one of way too many hours spent pinning I came across this card which is where I drew my inspiration for the card I designed.

I started by cutting the pegboard from Kraft cardstock. Then I trimmed all of the tools from a combination of colored cardstock and metallic silver cardstock. I pieced together the tools and hung them from the pegboard with mini silver brads. Then I cut out my own makeshift work table from brown cardstock. All of the pieces and the card base are distressed around the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

The sentiment I chose will make this the perfect Father's Day card for my father-in-law. And I'm looking forward to seeing what other uses I can find for this cool pegboard. Perhaps we need some crafty tools to hang next!

My next project is near and dear to my heart because it features our sweet Madelyn when she was 9 months old. She's so grown up and independent at two and a half so I cherish these little baby memories. All of the new Pockets & Pages products this month gave me the perfect opportunity to complete another memory for our scrapbook:

There are so many little elements and new products on this layout so I decided to take several closeup photos to give you a better idea of everything that went into this page. But first, I must note that everything was pulled together crisply and cleanly with the help of our Pockets & Pages Essentials 3x4 and 4x4 die sets. I use these on every pocket layout I make!

Here's a closer photo of the new Mischief Maker - Americana. I stamped the images onto a piece of white cardstock and then cut masks out for each of them. I also cut masks with the Cloud Duo die and the two small cloud dies sold with Sky's the Limit stamp set. With all the masks in place I chose a Copic marker and airbrushed the background. Then I removed the cloud masks and lightly airbrushed over the top so the contrast wouldn't be quite as stark between the white clouds and the blue sky. I colored the images with Copic and then added the grass border die cut along the bottom.

This portion of the layout uses the Patriotic Prose - Brave stamp. I inked the stamp with Memento Dew Drops in Nautical Blue and Love Letter and embellished with a cutout from the Star Stacklets and two small star sprinkles from Doodlebug.

As I've gotten more involved with pocket scrapbooking I discovered a void in my collection (gasp!). I own several sets of pre-printed journaling cards, but I often couldn't find the colors or style I wanted for my particular layout. This left me searching for items I could use to create my own journaling cards. I wanted something larger than our previously released notepaper and grid paper stamps and so this month we're releasing the Pockets & Pages version of these two stamps and they're generously sized at approximately 4.5" square.

In addition to the notepaper and grid paper designs, we have two Journal Tabs stamp sets with coordinating dies to record the day or month on your layout. Here I've embossed the July tab with Rouge embossing powder and cut it out with the coordinating die. To finish of my journaling card I added a firework from the Rocket's Red Glare stamp set.

Here's a look at another use for the previously released Fab Frames die. I embellished the corner with another Star Stacklet cutout and Doodlebug Sprinkle. So... do you think I went a little nuts with the Sprinkles?

That's it for my sneak peeks today! The rest of the Baker's Dozen gals have their own inspiring creations to share with you so make sure you hop along to check out the goodies!
