Just picked up my new PT111 yesterday.
My first 12 rounds were all low in about a 12" group. I was trying to get used to the trigger.
I put the 2nd mag in and actually concentrated on my aim. All 12 rounds went into the 10 ring! (This was amazing to me because, at best, I'm maybe an "average" shot with a handgun.) I took the sight adjustment tool with me to the range. Didn't even bother to pull it out.
Ran 150 rounds of FMJ and 12 rounds of JHP through her. Not a single hiccup of any kind.
I absolutely love this gun. As soon as I run another 100 rounds or so through it, it will definitely be my primary carry piece when dress allows for it. (I also have a Kel-Tec P-11 and a CZ-82 that I rotate for carry.)
This is actually my 2nd Taurus. My very first handgun purchase was a used nickle plated Taurus "Falcon" .38 Special 4" barrel service revolver with the original wood grips. I still have that gun and plan on keeping it. It's a robust firearm. (On days I'm feeling "old fashioned", I carry it in a leather shoulder holster rig.)
My Fobus Model SP11B is being delivered tomorrow. Looking forward to having this PT111 as my companion!
