The amazing new winter festival fro Manchester– over two days 24 bands, incuding I Am Kloot, Gomez, British Sea Power, Turin Brakes, Tim Burgess, Badly Drawn Boy plus world class whiskies in The Victoria Warehouse, November 21 and November 22.
THE Whisky Sessions, this Winter’s brand new music and whisky festival, has announced the final act to complete their extraordinary line up – The Travelling Band will play the top support slot on the second stage on Friday, November 21.
The Manc five-piece have won hearts and minds wherever they’ve found themselves, combining the strut of Southern country with the mayhem of the EStreet Band. Expect loys from their new album, The Big Defreeze, produced by Iestyn Polson (Patti Smith, David Bowie and more) at the world famous Church Studios in Crouch End.
Adam Gorman of band said: “We’re really excited to be getting on board with The Whisky Sessions. It’s an honour to be involved in such an ace line up in our hometown and obviously we’ve been rather large fans of whisky for some time now! We’ll be making a weekend out of it, that’s for sure.”

Brought to Manchester by the Ingenius Events Company (part of the International Wine & Spirits Competition Group), the festival has been created to bring together two things that are beloved the world over – whisky and music. Mixologists and bartenders will be on hand to introduce festival-goers to whiskies from around the world. The team from Manchester’s Whiskey Jar will be concocting some unique whisky cocktails especially for the event.
Festival-goers will be able to wander from stage to tasting room, with the Victoria Warehouse Hotel set to become ‘The Whisky Hotel’ for the weekend. Every ticket purchased includes a limited number of whisky tastings within the price.
