We get bottled water to drink, but the RO water is drinking quality, and I occasionally do drink it. As the Utilities Operator I control the quality so I'm happy with my own work 
The De-Ion is seperate to Pot water and is only used for turbine blade wash and the Cooling Medium circuit.
Drinking De-Ion is not a good idea at all!!

Yup, definitely on the Pot Water and De-Ion water systems. Process (Gas and liquifaction) is all stainless (low temp) and firewater ringmains/ cooling medium/seawater systems are all GRP (fibre glass reinforced plastic). We use copper anodes in our Biofouling Unit thou' to make Copper Hypochloride to dose the seawater pump cassions to prevent marine growth in the intakes.
