The hardest part of love is letting go. But at nearly 14 years old, a large Burmese Mountain mix, Casino’s body was failing him.

“We wanted to let him die naturally, we really did, and not put him down but we couldn’t take the suffering,” said Daniel Miller.

Miller called the SPCA of Tampa Bay to pick up Casino for euthanasia. But before the final goodbye, he filled out a form requesting a special cremation, essentially where Casino would be cremated individually so his remains could be brought back to the Millers.
