Hello all,
In my recent buying frenzy, I picked up several lenses in different mounts and I've decided to stick with Canon FD and EF lenses. So, I'm going to start selling off a bunch of my alt glass.
First up is a Leica R-Mount 35-70mm f/3.5 (Vario-Elmar). This lens is built like a freakin' tank and looks like someone may have used it as such at some point in its life. However, the glass is clean and clear and the wear and tear doesn't affect its ability to make awesome photos. I've posted a couple of samples below.
I had intended to use this lens as a video lens because the focus is ridiculously smooth, but the lens doesn't quite focus closely enough for the way I had intended to use it so I've moved over to a different lens for that.
There is a lot of wear on the knurling on the lens and it looks like there is a slight amount of bend in the rear of the lens, but it does not affect IQ and the lens functions absolutely flawlessly. Aperture is snappy and focus is smooth with a nice, short throw. It balances well on my A7 with the included adapter. If it focused closer, I'd keep it in a minute, but, alas, I need something that gets me a little tighter.
I'm asking $175 shipped anywhere in the US for this lens OBO. Price includes the lens, front/rear caps, FOTGA Leica R to NEX Adapter and an R60 - 62mm Step-Up Ring for attaching the more common 62mm filter sizes.

Second on the chopping block is a Canon 50mm f/1.8 for LTM mount. I have a FOTGA adapter for this lens as well. I really, really love this little lens, but I'm really trying to consolidate down to the FD mount stuff. This lens is in good condition for its age. The focus is nice and smooth and the aperture works well enough. The clicks aren't as positive as I'd like them to be, but they do work and the blades are clean. Glass looks great and IQ is really nice. Steve Huff did a writeup on this lens and gave it really good marks. I wouldn't be horribly upset if this didn't sell. :)
Included is the lens, adapter, generic hood and 58mm lens cap (snaps onto the hood).
