I don’t really watch Project Runway All Stars like I use to but my tv was on Lifetime last night and it caught my attention when I heard “influential fashion & beauty bloggers” then I was all in! So on a repeat episode from (Season 3, Episode 8) of Project Runway All Stars the challenge was called, #Nina’s Trending. Project Runway went global as the designers teamed up with some of the most influential fashion bloggers in the world to identify a new trend for 2014. Nina Garcia, designer Christian Siriano and Calvin Klein Collection’s Francisco costa were the guest judges.
The influential bloggers they selected, I had never heard of. It’s thousands and thousands of bloggers all across the world I know but none of these bloggers were familiar to me. They did a great job though and I’m sure they loved the opportunity! I googled a few of them and they do have lots of followers, I was very impressed. Some had more followers than others. I really liked Carli who’s a fashion and beauty blogger and she is really popular on YouTube. I never really took to YouTube and although I do have a channel, I rarely make videos because I got tired of the ignorant commenters. It really turned me off. I started following her because she does some fantastic makeup looks. Anyway, here are the list of bloggers they picked….

The remaining designers had to come up with a new fashion trend for 2014 and incorporate the Pantone color of 2014, a purplish hue called, “Radiant Orchid”. The competition was pretty intense but the winning look went to Korto! Her model was fashion and beauty blogger Carli Bybel and she looked fabulous! Minus those shoes lol. I really enjoyed watching this show, and kudos to these fellow bloggers making waves! Happy Friday! xoxo
