The kick off to THS’s Hope for the Holidays campaign, which raises funds and awareness for the animals in our shelter, especially those who have been with us for a long a time and who we want to be in a loving, forever home in time for the holiday season!
This year, to raise awareness for our long-stay animals, we’re asking kids to be a Pen Pal to a homeless pet at the Toronto Humane Society. We’ll email you a letter-writing kit including a template & profiles for our long-stay animals. The letters will be displayed at our shelter on Giving Tuesday.
There will also be a tour of the shelter for children who have written letters. This is a class activity to take place between the hours of 11am – 3pm. In your email regarding your interest in the Pen Pals for Pets program, please let us know if you are interested in a tour of our shelter on November 29th!
Email education@torontohumanesociety.com to register your interest.
