If you have experienced the loss of your animal or are anticipating the loss of your animal, know that you are not alone in the grief that you are feeling. The purpose of this group is to create a safe and supportive environment where everyone’s grief matters. Participants will have an opportunity to express their loss and share memories of their companions. The group meets the first Saturday of each month.

After a 5-kilometer stroll along the lake starting at the Edgewater Pavilion, this fan favorite charity event will end at Confederation Beach Park, with a doggie beach party and amazing contests, prizes, family friendly activities, vegetarian food trucks, and tons of happy, wet dogs.

Wiggle Waggle Walkers can either sign-up as individuals or form a “pack” to fundraise as a team. Registration and pledge forms can be found at http://hbspca.com. All pledge funds go directly to the support of mistreated and homeless animals in the Hamilton/Burlington area. Remember – simple steps save shelter pets!

Smiling Blue Skies Walk to End Canine Cancer

This is an on-leash walk along the boardwalk from Kew Gardens to Ashbridges and back, approx. 4 k. There will be a silent auction after the walk. 100% of all proceeds got the OVC Pet Trust Fund to benefit research and treatment for companion animals through the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph. To date, the Toronto Walk has raised over $140,000. The National total since 2001 is over $1.6 million dollars. Please join us in a celebration of life and hope. There is no minimum donation.
