Mini Vet Camp

Admission: $25/session, $90 for all sessions

Benefiting: Community Veterinary Outreach Program

Calling all pet owners, animal lovers, and veterinary and vet tech students in the GTA and surrounding areas. The series will educate and engage attendees, as well as raise funds and awareness for the work of the Community Veterinary Outreach program.

The Toronto humane Societies Mega Adoption Event

DogLoversDays is a fun filled interactive “dog” festival where the family dog has fun running agility and speed tracks and much more. Your dog can have a ball running a lure course, get the star treatment in the Pamper Zone, have some fun in the Doggie Play Zone, or visit a Holistic Healer at the Health and Wellness Centre. Of course, for the adults, there are numerous vendors and lots to see.

Furry Friends 5K

Dog Day in the Park

Bring the whole family (including your dog!) or the first ever outdoor dog festival in west Niagara, in support of the Lincoln County Humane Society. Lots of vendors, and all will have a fundraising element tied into their offerings. Lincoln County will have dogs with them that are in need of their forever homes, and kids can have fun getting their faces painted like their favourite animal, get a balloon animal, and have fun watching fly ball demonstrations!

11th Annual Tails on the Trails Paws-a-thon

10 am – 4 pm

Lion’s Park, Sir Winston Churchill Avenue, St. Albert, Alberta
Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the walk officially starts at 11 a.m.

Collect pledges and join us for a family friendly day of fun. Pawsfor a minute and think about what your pledges can do for pets in need. The event will raise funds to help fight pet abandonment, help the sick and injured, help create awareness and work towards long-term solutions to Alberta’s pet overpopulation problem. Support the cause and walk for SCARS (Second Chance Animal Rescue Society).

Walk at your own pace along the scenic Sturgeon River Valley and then enjoy a variety of displays and activities. Please ensure that pets who attend are leashed at all times, have up-to-date vaccinations and are reasonably sociable with other animals.

3rd Annual Puppy Prom

June 14, 2015

Benefiting: A portion of the proceeds from the independently produced “Pups on the Runway – Puppy Prom” will benefit Positive Tails.

Pups will attend dressed in their “Prom Wear” and compete for the title of King and Queen of the Prom 2015. This year’s theme is Glitz and Glam”. Photographer Jakku Bambu of Bambu Productions will document the afternoon as pups and their pawrents enjoy the afternoon.

Guest judge Elizabeth Falkner from Iron Chef will decide the King and Queen of 2015 to be crowned. Pups and their pawrents will shake their tails to the music of DJ Tony Smith, and participate in the “Battle of the Pups and Pawrents – Lipsynch Contest”. Raffle tickets will be available for fantastic prizes and pawrents will have an amazing time with their pup.

The Redpath Waterfront Festival and Pet Parade

Don’t miss the Purina PawsWay Pet Parade Saturday, June 20. Meet at HTO Park West at 12:15pm and join in a walk along the new Queens Quay Boulevard with your pooch starting at 12:30pm.

The free RWF Shuttle, courtesy of RBC, will be running all day along Queens Quay if you and your dog need a cruise back. The Ultimutts and DockDogs® Competition will also be at Sherbourne Common on both Friday and Sunday.

Poochie Power Walk

Benefiting: Cambridge & District Humane Society

The day begins with a 2km walk along the trails of Riverside Park, after which, everyone can enjoy a fun-filled day in the picnic area. Other activities include raffles, door prizes, a sponsor and vendor marketplace, dog demonstrations, contests and games for pets and people, as well as an all day BBQ.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to care for the animals in the shelter to assist with our spay/neuter program, medical supplies and our humane education program. We encourage you to collect pledges and join us at the park. The first 50 participants with pledges will receive a goodie bag. Wienerfest Home County Festival

Come out and experience over 100 vendors to shop at. It is like a mall that you can bring your dog to. Than watch all the fun with games for you and your pet. ANY dog is welcome and can try a variety of games and the agility course, lure course and fun pet zone.

Come meet Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund .Come get your picture taken with you and your pet in the Wienermobile. Than watch the Running of the Wieners!
