Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Two (2) years of experience in a financial aid setting is also required. A strong foundation in SQL, Crystal and Cognos reporting is preferred.
Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial aid data/information to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and institutional regulations, policies, and procedures for the Financial Aid Services Office. The employee will provide technical support for the current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Jenzabar CX, as well as the new ERP, PeopleSoft, systems and other software. This individual will generate processes for various letters and emails distributed by the office. He/she will also create and maintain support documentation and perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The successful candidate must possess knowledge of database management as well as knowledge of various reporting software (Crystal, Cognos, Access, Excel, SQL). Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is preferred. He/she must communicate well both verbally and in writing; be skilled in customer service, record keeping and communication. The successful candidate must be creative and have the ability to work independent with special projects. He/ she must also possess the ability to multi-task, utilize time management, and be well organized.
The minimum starting salary is $ 33,000. Minimal additional compensation may be granted for education and/or experience exceeding the minimum stated job requirements. This is at the sole discretion of Daytona State College.
