Job Description Summary:

Plan, implement, and coordinate the comprehensive college-wide dual enrollment program. Act as a liaison for ISD's in the DMC service area and maintain positive working relationships with all areas of academics and school district personnel and high school staff. Provide statistical reports detailing early college applications, registrations, and activities as requested.

Facilitate the early college enrollment process both on the college campus and at the high school sites. Manage the creation, publishing, and printing of all applicable early college forms and materials. Process and assist students with all aspects of the enrollment process (Apply Texas application, PAA, register for TSI testing, ACT/SAT testing, academic advising for college credit and CE courses. Coordinate and develop an annual early college calendar to include deadline dates and informational presentations. Develop and deliver early college presentations both at the high schools and on the campuses. Meet with prospective and current early college students and parents. Respond to early college inquiries from both students and high school personnel. Keep high school and districts informed of upcoming deadlines, policy changes, and important early college information. Serve as member of committees and other various college-wide advisory boards as assigned. Participate in recruitment/outreach activities, including open house events. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree. Three (3) years of related experience. Program coordination experience. Valid Texas Driver License with ability to be insurable by Del Mar College.

Proficient with Microsoft Office. Ability to effectively present information. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, group facilitation and organizational skills. Detail oriented. Ability to work both independently and in a team setting. Capacity to be a leader and a role model. Multicultural awareness and competency.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of programs of study at DMC. Knowledge of college readiness and recruitment strategies that affect access to education, retention, and achievement gap for underrepresented minority students. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse constituency of faculty and staff across all academic and administrative units within secondary and post-secondary institutions.Skilled in developing student leadership. Additional language skills of Spanish.
