Finding the right game in a sea of options can often get complicated. If you are like me, you have probably found yourself browsing through Steam’s ample library only to walk away unconvinced about what to play. Your time and money are valuable, so we have taken it upon ourselves to put together a list with some of the best games available on Steam.

Of course, our list won’t be the be-all and end-all in game selection, but we have selected these games for good reasons and believe you can find a good time here. Let’s jump right into it.

Game of Thrones – A Telltale Games Series

Fans of the Game of Thrones franchise will be marveled by this game. It takes advantage of the same plot twists, gut-wrenching murders and intense story to bring a game that will keep you intrigued at all times. It tells the story of House Forrester as they struggle to survive the War of the Five Kings.

As it goes with other Telltale games, you will be in control of decisions that may change the route of the story line. So you best know how to choose your words and actions. It does cost $29.99, but includes all available episodes and will ensure hours of fun.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Though released in 2011, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim continues to be one of the most popular RPG games around. This game has you going through towns, plains, mountains, forests and more. Battle dragons, learn their secrets and harness their power to save the world.

The game goes for $19.99, but it is so worth it for those of you who like RPG titles.

Fallout 3

Fallout 3 is an open-world game that takes you through a post-apocalyptic experience like no other. You have the freedom to explore nuclear ruins and walk through the destroyed remnants of the USA, but you best keep an eye on that red meter.

Of course, there are plenty of adventures to be had in a nuclear wasteland, so this game will keep you active and on your toes at all times. It is also a cheap game now, priced at only $9.99.

Grand Theft Auto V

Wreaking havoc has never been funner than with the Grand Theft Auto series. GTA 5 takes place in Los Santos (a city strikingly similar to Los Angeles) and takes you through a story full of crime, death, action and… theft. It is an open world with a huge map, so there is a lot of mischief to get into.

It goes for $59.99, but it is a full-on console-quality game that will ensure endless hours of play time.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Here’s another open world RPG worth your time and money. The Witcher 3 is set in a fantasy world, where you play as Geralt of Rivia. Your goal is to find a child from an ancient prophecy. But this won’t be an easy task; there are monsters to slay, but you have a vast selection of weapons and armor to help you through your journey.

The game is $39.99, and also very much worth it.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

The Metal Gear Solid saga continues with another installment in the series. This takes Metal Gear Solid to a whole new level, though, including an open world and insane graphics.

The story continues. Snake awakens from a 9-year comma, in the middle of the Cold War. Want to find out what happens? You will have to get the game for $39.99.

South Park: The Stick of Truth

Who doesn’t like the vulgar, yet genius South Park humor? Now there’s a game, and it is extremely fun. Humans and elves have been in a war for a thousand years for one reason: the Stick of Truth.

You take the role of a new kid and are on an epic quest to become cool. Yep, you have to earn your place as a new friend to Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny.

This game is $29.99. Don’t worry, free games are coming!

Broforce

Alright, let’s quit the crazy money spending. This game is only $14.99 and is seriously about the funnest Steam game I have ever played. I do recommend you go multi-player with it, though. It gets much funner with a crowd.

The game is much like Metal Slug. You move horizontally and fight your enemies with all kinds of weapons and characters. By the way, these “bros” highly resemble charcters you may already know. Brominator, the Boondock Bros, Brochete and Brobocop are only a few examples of what you will encounter.

Warframe

In Warframe you take the role of a Tenno fighting against the Grineer. You will be a “master of blade and gun” and have the ability to improve your weapons, techniques, armor and more.

This is a free game, but those who want better equipment can also pay for it. It is a personal favorite and I still seriously can’t believe such a high-end game can be played without paying a penny. It’s possible to get very far without buying anything, and it is extremely fun.

Marvel Heroes 2016

Doctor Doom is trying to destroy the world with the power of the Cosmic Cube, so it’s time for your favorite Marvel heroes to take care of business. This MMO-ARPG includes characters like Thor, Iron Man, Wolverine, Spider Man, Captain America and many others. It has a complex leveling system, many locations, a great crafting, PvP and more.

Interested? This one is also free-to-play, but there are in-app purchases to be had.
