Our Thanksgiving plans were a bit crazy.  Due to Tab's football games, we decided the kids and I would drive to Missouri on Friday.  Tab was going to fly in on Monday and then we'd all leave the following Friday.  It was a great plan until Ebby Lee had solo practice for the Christmas service on Sunday!  All that to say, she stayed back with Tab and Marla while the boys and I drove up on Friday afternoon.

This kid was loving all the WIDE OPEN SPACES!  Saturday we saw lots of family and friends.  My parents had a bonfire complete with hot dogs and smores.  The weather was perfect for a fire.

Sunday, we went to church and then did nothing.  #likeforreal

Monday we picked up Tab and Ebby Lee and drove to my grandparents' house.  They had a little birthday party for Bowen complete with balloons and cupcakes!

I think he enjoyed himself.  haha!  Don't you?

It was so sweet of them to go to all that trouble.

Tuesday night, Ebby Lee spent the night with Brynn (Brynn is my cousin's daughter).  They went to a SEMO basketball game and crafted the next morning.  She had so much fun!

While Ebby Lee was doing this, Nixon was...

Nixon had his own sleepover with Camden, my nephew.  We were laughing because I'm sure the boys were loud and crazy while the girls were reading and crafting.  My poor sister-in-law!

Ebby Lee loved having all the girl time!

We met up for the new Disney movie, Moana.  It was okay...definitely not as good as Trolls (in my opinion).

The movie theater was dark and I guess I wasn't really paying attention, but in Chick-fil-A I realized my cousin and I were dressed very similarly.  It was a yucky day and apparently stripes with a puffer (similar) was the mom outfit of the day.  :)

For dinner that night, we headed over to the Tarbuttons' house.  The food was delicious (SO GOOD), the house was darling and so cute for Christmas, and the entertainment was out of this world.  Those five pictured above are a trip!

*I've gotta stop right here or this post will be WAY TOO LONG!  Come back tomorrow for Part 2.  We played a super fun Christmas game.  Perfect for a fun game night!*

Happy Hump Day!  XO
