Nils Holger Moormann transforms a Volkswagen T6 into a kind of mobile home. The designer made this as his comfortable solution to tons of business trips with him sleeping the night inside a camper van. He worked hand in hand with Custom Bus transport firm for the said auto design. He integrated minimalistic aesthetics by taking out everything which can be taken out and mix restrained items that can render extreme utmost function. The cabinets are made out of laminated wood with a silk matt surface making a velvety and easy to clean feel. Each is made in natural oak with handles that are made out of powder coated zinc alloy.

The kitchen working area surface has a sink and gas hob out of stainless steel. The flooring is covered in real oak with ceiling panels. The sofa bed is all upholstered in merino wool big enough to accommodate two individuals. The vehicle’s exterior is all in matt black paint coat that is the same as that done for the kitchen cabinet surfaces.

Nils Holger Moormann started his business in Ashau im Chiemgau and now sells furniture that bear his own designs. The self taught designer also sells other pieces from other designers from any part of the globe. It was in 2009 when he also opened a guesthouse dubbed as the Berge.
