Marine Park
Saturday, April 9 | 9:30 AM - 1 PM | Marine Park, Brooklyn, NY

Come celebrate Earth Day with The Nature Conservancy in New York on April 9th!

In honor of Earth Month, we are hosting a volunteer coastal cleanup at Marine Park in Brooklyn, New York from 9:30 AM – 1 PM. The Nature Conservancy, the Natural Areas Conservancy, the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation and Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy are working to improve the health of habitats inside the park. By join fellow Nature Conservancy supporters to remove marine debris and other trash from several areas of the park, you can help us kick off this project and make a difference in helping create a healthy ecosystem that benefits both people and nature.

Registration begins at 9:30 AM for the early birds who are eager to get to work and will end at 10:30 AM. After the cleanup, you are invited to learn about our restoration work from NYC Park Rangers. Lunch will be provided.
