Susanville Indian Rancheria 6th Annual Memorial Pow Wow. Held at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. Friday 7:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm. The SIR Pow-Wow is a competition of dancers from Tribes throughout the Western US. They compete for cash prizes and bragging rights. We will have contests for dancers from tots to elders. The dancers wear traditional ceremonial dress and perform traditional dances of the various tribes they represent. The competition displays some of the most passionate and vigorous performances in the country. We will also have Native American craftsmen with their work on display and for sale. This Pow-Wow is a perfect opportunity to see, appreciate, and purchase unique and exquisite jewelry, art works, and clothing. The event is fee to the public.
