My company just purchased six seats of Vault Pro, and we have some questions on VSS import.
1. We want to do the full VSS import rather than the VSS Handoff. In demo testing of Vault Pro 5, we used the SourceGear SourceSafe Import Tool, version 5.1.2, to test a full import. Does a tool exist for Vault Pro 6 that does the full VSS import?
2. I noted on another post that the 32 bit version of Vault Pro server is required for the VSS import. Since I did not specify 32 bit, my IT department installed the 64 bit version of Vault Pro server. Do I need to get IT to uninstall the 64 bit Vault Pro server and install the 32 bit version to allow VSS import?
3. I also noted in info on VSS import the recommendation that the Vault Pro users should be the same as the VSS users to make things easier. Should I use the Vault Pro server admin tool to create the same users as in VSS to make the import easier?
