“Miyazaki Art Show” at Spoke Art SF.
Opening on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at Spoke Art Gallery’s San Francisco, California location is the exciting “Miyazaki Art Show” group exhibition (Costumes are encouraged for opening night!!).
A whimsical showcase of over fifty artists
from around the world, “Miyazaki Art Show” celebrates the films of Japanese film-maker and animator Hayao
Miyazaki. Taking inspiration from the Studio Ghibli director’s classic films such as My Neighbor
Totoro, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle, Kiki’s Delivery Service and
Ponyo to his lesser known work like The Wind Rises and Mr. Dough and the Egg Princess, each
artist has created unique works inspired by Miyazaki’s imaginative universe.
