Nick Brandt’s “Inherit the Dust” Shows Animals in Lands they Once Roamed.

British photographer Nick Brandt’s latest series of images entitled “Inherit the Dust” showcase African wildlife within the lands they once roamed in absolutely striking photographs.

The photographs, which feature life-size portraits pasted on boards to form murals within landfills, under highways, construction zones and others that have all overtaken Kenya, took almost two years of planning as well as seven months of creating the images are collected in a show currently on display at Edwynn Houk Gallery in New York City (Until April 30th, 2016) and a soon to be book.

Brandt has dedicated his life to documenting wildlife in Kenya and being a conservationist to help protect them.  He recently started Big Life Foundation, a nonprofit that safeguards two million acres of land from poachers by hiring rangers from nearby communities.
