As much as we love superheroes, there are only so many comics we can read. Want a different kind of superhero entertainment? Check out one of the following websites.

1. Texts from Superheroes.

If superheroes texted each other, what would they say? That’s the premise behind this hilarious webcomic.

2. Superhero Memes.

Anybody can be in a meme, and superheroes are no exception. SuperheroMemes collects memes as well as original comics, artwork and other funny superhero-related images.

3. Hawkeye Initiative.

Run by Gingerhaze, the Hawkeye Initative’s description reads as follows: “How to fix every Strong Female Character pose in superhero comics: replace the character with Hawkeye doing the same thing.” The Initiative expanded to include other superheroes, and while the blog hasn’t been updated in nearly a year, there are over 50 pages’ worth of images to scroll back through.

4. Nottonyharrison.

It might never have occurred to you how different our media would look if superheroes were real – but it did occur to Tumblr artist Kim McG. In addition to fake headlines, Kim also creates posters for series she wished existed – like a fake Netflix poster advertising a Spiderwoman series starring Jessica Drew.

5. 20 Super Infographics About Superheroes.

Did you know that there were info graphics out there about superheroes? Because we didn’t! Visually collects 20 of the best at the above link, from The Illustrious Omnibus of Super Powers to The Cost of Being Ironman.

6. International Catalogue of Superheroes.

We tend to think of Superman or Batman when we think of superheroes – but there are several foreign superheroes you’ve probably never heard of! Find some new characters to obsess over at the International Catalogue of Superheroes.

7. Edy Hardjoe.

Photographer Edy Hardjoe creates fun scenes with superhero toys. Check out his artwork on his Facebook or Instagram pages.

8. Superhero Crafts.

Want to do something superhero-related but sick of staring at your computer? Try out one of the 50+ superhero crafts featured at Busy Mom’s Helper – they’re great for kids AND adults.

9. Superheroes in Color.

Superheroes in Color is “dedicated to racial and cultural diversity in comic books and derivative works.” Here you’ll find cosplay photos from diverse groups of people and introductions to minority superheroes – both established and new ones.
