I realise I've been a pretty rubbish blogger recently. I have been so incredibly busy with work, and life, that it's just had to take a back seat - but it's made me sad because I do love blogging ever so much. I am planning on being back, at a proper level again... so please hold tight! About the only place I am constantly active at the moment is Instagram, as it's all I can manage! In the meantime, I have had a lot of requests to start up the monthly photo challenge again which I started last year. The reason I stopped was I'd kind of run out of ideas, after 3 months, without them overlapping... I think now this time has passed it doesn't matter so much if they do repeat - but if anyone has any theme suggestions so I can carry it on into May too, please do let me know. How would people feel if I stuck in a bit of fashion, and everyday life into the challenges too? Or would you like them even more makeup based? If you're new to the whole concept, fear not... this is how it works....
Post the picture on your own Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Blog - wherever you like, and encourage your friends to play too - the more the merrier. Save it as your phone lock screen if you want to make sure you remember the themes for the day.
The themes are there for ideas for you to take a photo of for that day - so on the 1st of April you will post a picture on your chosen platform based around the theme "what I used" - the themes are to be interpreted exactly how you choose - you might want to show what you used on your face that day, you may want to show the tools you used for your hairstyle, the ingredients of the dinner you're making - however you want to interpret it.
If you can't do a day, don't worry, just jump back on board the following day - it's all a bit of fun!
Lastly, make sure you hashtag your pics with #SuperGorgeousApril so everyone who's playing can see what other pictures are being submitted, plus, as I discovered last time, it's a great way to find new people you might enjoy following on Instagram.
