Q: Can you give us more insights into the company’s service offerings?
A: Taos goes to market across two lines of business:
1. Infrastructure Consulting:
We provide on-demand expertise to solve interim staffing challenges. We engage in project-based engagements to tackle end-to-end deliverables or outcomes across the full IT lifecycle – plan, design, build and run. And we provide senior level advisory services to offices of the CIO, CTO and CISO. Core areas of expertise include DevOps, Network Engineering, Windows & Unix Systems Administration, Security, Cloud Architecture, Governance and Optimization, Project & Portfolio Management.
2. Managed Services:
We provide an outsourced Service Desk which aims to improve end-user productivity and satisfaction with an organization’s IT support model. And we deliver Managed Infrastructure services which includes a 3 level support model for multi-vendor, hybrid (on premise, cloud) support across all infrastructure towers. Our managed services are provided from an on-shore, shared service operations center in Boise, ID.

In the education industry, we are providing a team of technologists to help accelerate the program management, design and implementation of a multi-year, global data center & cloud consolidation program

A: Taos is expanding our footprint nationally over the next 6 months specifically depending our footprint in the US northeast (centered in Boston), Southern California (centered in Los Angeles), Denver, Chicago and Seattle. We are also increasing our investments in our Boise, Idaho managed service offerings to continue to rapidly grow that part of our business. Importantly, we are also investing to expand our portfolio of public-cloud based consulting and managed services; specifically building out richer capabilities for clients who are taking advantage of AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
