Q: AcceptEmail offers the easy way to receive and pay bills, tell us something more about the company and your services?

A: AcceptEmail, which opened its U.S. headquarters in May, is the market leader for consumer remittances in Western Europe. The company serves approximately 600 clients in segments including insurance, banking, telecom, utilities, property management, and retail. AcceptEmail’s simple, intuitive payments are ideal for companies that do business with today’s highly mobile consumers, especially the digitally-savvy members of the Millennial Generation. Customers experience more convenience, have fewer steps to take, and get real-time updates that show the bill’s current status right in the message itself. Companies reduce costs by up to 70%, get paid 50% quicker, and improve NPS scores by 20%.

Q: What are the biggest benefits for the users?

A: AcceptEmail delivers payment requests directly to the customer’s mobile device or desktop via various messaging solutions including email, IM, QR code and social media. The customer may make a payment any time and from anywhere, directly from the inbox, with just a few clicks. There are no apps to download, no registering, no logging in. Payment may come from the customer’s bank account via Verified ACH, by credit or debit card, or via a third-party method. Once the payment goes through, the status bar changes from blue (due) to green (paid) in real time. Customers love AcceptEmail’s simplicity and convenience.

Q: How private and secure are your users’ information?

A: Very. The only thing someone else can do with an AcceptEmail is pay it. Companies that send AcceptEmails usually inform their customers beforehand. An AcceptEmail does not contain payment details like credit card or bank account information – and users will not be asked to provide any confidential information. During the payment process, you can always clearly see what amount you’re paying to whom. The payment will always run through a secure online environment. For added security, AcceptEmails are signed digitally, and the content of the email remains encrypted until it reaches your inbox. This means the email you receive cannot be tampered with. Customer information will be stored in accordance with our strict privacy rules. AcceptEmail only uses this information for the AcceptEmail service itself.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: We are eager to bring to America the same high level of success that we’ve enjoyed in Western Europe, where we are the market leader for consumer remittances. AcceptEmail holds a 95% market share in the Netherlands, our home country, and has more than 600 corporate clients. We believe that the North American market is especially ready for us now; mobility took hold throughout Europe about 5 to 10 years before it did here. But now America is catching up fast – powered especially by those member of the Millennial Generation mentioned earlier. Members of that demographic are demanding what AcceptEmail delivers – convenience, no hassle or paperwork, pay anytime from anywhere.

Q: How would you convince the reader to start using AcceptEmail?

A: Customers get payment requests direct to inbox, pays in a few clicks and gets instant confirmation – no apps to download, no registering, no log-in. While AcceptEmail’s bill delivery and payment experience holds tremendous appeal for consumers – especially those of the coveted Millennial Generation – our technology brings even more substantial and tangible benefits to the companies that deploy it.

Two examples of this:

• Much-improved logistics. Our customer Tech Data, a worldwide supplier of IT components, cut its response time for last-minute orders by 92%, from four hours to 20 minutes, from receipt of order to approval for shipment, because the Finance Department did not have to become involved in confirming receipt of the payment. That often meant shipping the same day rather than having to wait until the next day – critical to customer service.

• Call Center Productivity Improvement and Job Enrichment for Call Center Reps. They can use AcceptEmail in conjunction with their customer calls, negotiate a payment or partial payment, and immediately send off an email to the customer. The customer can then pay in a few clicks – this isn’t just convenient and a way of collecting receivables, in cases like our customer T-Mobile, it allows us to quickly restore phone service that has been suspended, or is in danger on cancellation, for reasons of non-payment. That also makes for more satisfied customers.
