They live on a 1/3 of an acre in suburbia in Southeastern North Carolina with their teenage son who plays football and is an avid hunter and angler, their dog River, and their chickens and bees. They are also frequently visited by their adult daughter who is a musician and are supporters of local music in their area! They love to garden, prepare for the future, can food, make home-made wine and create new and innovative DIY projects!
