Sundowner is a 1974 factory finished Westsail 32. She has circumnavigated 3 times and has been almost continuously cruised or lived aboard for the past 40 years, receiving constant attention and upgrades throughout her life. She is a true long range, rugged, water/energy autonomous, blue water cruiser. Her latest major refit/rebuild in 2015 focused on low maintenance, strong gear, and comfort at anchor.

Since 2015 she has been sailed from New Orleans Louisiana down to Panama where she resides currently.

The Westsail boats are legendary for their blue water capabilities. Being factory finished assures those qualities. In addition, Sundowner has an engine with less than 300 hours, a 18gph water maker, 500 watts of solar, a freezer, and a very long list of improvements.

She is offered for sale and we believe she is the most updated and modernized Westsail on the market today. She is truly turn key and ready to sail away. Everything is stocked, provisions, a full galley, fuel, water, new batteries, etc. We currently live aboard and can answer any questions about her readiness to meet your needs.

We spent over 70 thousand dollars and 5000 man hours upgrading and lovingly refitting this boat. We have had an incredible time on this comfortable and seaworthy Westsail. While we have had an incredible time sailing her over the past 7 years but it’s now time to let her go to her next owner’s who will hopefully take her farther to distant shores. Health concerns (Hip, lower back and other joint issues issues) force us to sell.

If someone buys it soon, there is still time to take her across the Pacific this year as she is located next to the Panama Canal in the beautiful San Blas islands. Travel here is easy, and she is ready to go. Make an offer, we are motivated to sell. We can also deliver to anywhere on the Gulf Coast of the USA and will consider delivery elsewhere in the Caribbean.

Price: $49,500 OBO
