JOB TITLE: Vehicle Technician
SALARY & BENEFITS: £20,000 - £24,000 dependant on experience + Healthcare scheme after 12 months service
WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 & Saturday 8:30 - 1:00
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a main car dealership that sells new and used cars to the public. They are a small team with strong family values. They are now recruiting for 2 x Vehicle technicians to join the team in Hull.
THE ROLE: An opportunity has arisen for 2 skilled technicians to join the team based in Hull. The role will involve carrying out general servicing and repairs on both petrol and diesel systems, MOT's, Electrical diagnosis, and warranty work.
Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician to include:-
MOT preparation and testing
Mechanical repairs
Vehicle servicing
Completing any required paperwork

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to be a hard-working and flexible individual ideally with at least 1 years' experience as a vehicle technician. You will need to be able to work well as part of a small team and also under your own initiative. It is highly desirable that you will have main dealership experience, along with experience as an MOT tester. Having experience apprentice coaching is highly desirable however not essential.
Key experience essential for the Vehicle Technician role:
At least 1 years' experience working as a Vehicle technician
A full UK Driving licence
NVQ level 2 in Motor Mechanics or level 2 city and guilds qualification
A good technical knowledge
Lives within a commutable distance to Hull
