JOB TITLE: CNC Programmer
SALARY & BENEFITS: £14ph + bonus scheme
WORKING HOURS: Full-Time 38.5 hours
THE COMPANY:
Our Coventry based clients are a well established Precision Engineering company. Family owned and run since 1991, they are essentially a manufacturing company concerned with turning, milling, drilling and mechanical assembly of Automotive components.
THE ROLE:
Our Coventry based client has an opportunity for a skilled and experienced CNC programmer to join their exciting team. You will have had previous experience operating or programming CNC machinery.
Key experience essential for the CNC Programmer role:
Setting and operating Bridgeport VMC 600E Heidenhain ITNC 530 controls
Visually inspect and measure components
Utilise your knowledge and understanding ofCNC machining and programming skills to optimise programs and machine efficiency
Provide support throughout machining stages to operators and support staff
responsibility for cleanliness of working area.
Ensure programs are correct and tested before implementation.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and possess the following skills:
Key experience essential for the CNC Programmer role:
Previous experience in a similar role
A minimum of 3 years experience as a CNC Machine Operator
Willingness to share your knowledge with other team members
Flexibility to the demands of the customer orders
Attention to Detail
Strong PC skills / literacy
self-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic
Able to communicate at all levels and work effectively in a team environment
