Job profile for Community Volunteer Coordinator
We are looking for a Community Volunteer Coordinator to work with Gainsborough Community Peoples Forum, to develop and support volunteering opportunities for the residents of the Gainsborough area of Ipswich and the projects that run within it.
Support and promote existing volunteering opportunities in Gainsborough
Develop and engage new volunteering opportunities
Interagency work, development and support
Fundraising for future development opportunities
Develop evaluation strategies and prepare reports
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of the Gainsborough community in Ipswich and what facilities are available within it. This position is funded by The Peoples Health Trust for Gainsborough Community Peoples Forum, who this candidate will be required to work alongside.
This position is for 17 hours per week and is based at Gainsborough Community Library.
Rate of pay is between £14,000 and £16,000 pro rata, depending on experience.
