I would love to introduce you to a stunning women from the USA. Her name Robin Marshall, mother of 5, corporate radio executive, national voice over talent, and author, was about to release her second book, “Diary of a Sugar Mom, Don’t Tell The Kids” the story about survival, sex, empowerment, and doing whatever it takes to support her family. It’s a great book, with a happy ending. That was July, just less than 6 months ago. She formed a company, Hired a publicist, Built a web site, www.robinmarshallsugarmom.com Sat for a photo shoot. And hit the road to tell the story, traveling from coast to coast, appearing on TV, giving radio interviews, and writing columns for national magazines. By eating right, exercising, and taking care of herself, Robin was set on doing good by bringing her message of freedom and independence to baby boomer women everywhere! Life was good, and for America’s number one sugar mom, the future was bright! 90 days later, Robin is fighting for her life! Robin was diagnosed with Cancer. It was not good!
Until Robin, decided to make it good, not for herself, but for other women. Once again, she took to writing, in great detail, about her struggle. But unlike the book, the ending is yet to be written. This is a story that should be told, by Robin, to women, and the people that love them. Robin is ready to talk about her journey, right to the end, wherever that may be.
Here is a look into what Robin has to say, as I interviewed her.
Meet the lovely Robin from Dallas, Texas. (USA)
Hi Robin, Thank you for taking time to speak to me
Hi Sue, It’s really an honor to be interviewed by someone who is so many miles away from where I am.
Robin, what is it that you do?
I do a lot of things! Most importantly I’m a writer that delves deep into women’s pshych. I go for what makes then tick, and grab on to the things they may be thinking, but are afraid to say. I voice these thoughts for them, just to bridge the gap.
I’m an author of a book called “The Diary of a Sugar Mom. Don’t Tell the Kids.” It’s a story of a strong mother who’s out of a job and reaches a point realizing she WILL do whatever it takes to keep her kids in a warm house, clothed and “normal” while she steps outside the box and learns about the Sugar Daddy world. She is strong and has an innate quality that allows her to compartmentalize her actions. The kids never know, and she can put it away day by day, packing lunches, carpooling and maintaining appearances on the soccer field.
Which obstacles did you overcome on your journey in order to find your true calling?
Obstacles that jumped in my way while writing this “faction” book (ficton/fact) was a sudden lack of finances, a separation from my husband, and raising 5 teens. I’d say that could send anyone over the edge!
Finding the resources to pay people to further this project along, was not an easy thing to do. As my mom always said, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” NOW she says, “Don’t tell me too much! If I’m subpoenaed I don’t want to know anything that will put me in jail!!!” Motherly love at it’s finest!
What advice would you give someone who pursues to be in similar profession as yourself?
- If you choose to be a writer, write from the soul. Don’t worry about how others perceive you.
– If you choose to enter into a world of escorting or Sugar Daddy, as the character in my book has done, learn the art of compartmentalizing. It’ll get you through.
– Finally- don’t EVER let a front door that’s locked, keep you out! Walk around to the back door and find a way in.
How would you Motivate someone who dreams of being in your shoes?
My message to women right now is about being a Sugar Mom. My definition is “a woman in her 40’s -65 who has raised her kids, taken care of her husband and now realizes it’s ME time. This is the time to find things that used to excite you, that you were passionate about! Maybe dancing, art, a new friend, counseling, going on vacation BY YOURSELF, …it’s all about recognizing how much you still have to offer and if your husband offers opposition and refuses to make things better- take a break and make yourself the best that you can be, because in all actuality you still have another 25 years to go! Do you want to live those years in a stifled manner? I think not. You are most likely a Sugar Mom in the making!
Where do you draw motivation from and What inspires you?
I am motivated by smart people! I am inspired by people that say what they’re going to do!
I love to learn, listen and watch these people in action! I tell my kids, “you must try one new thing a day for the rest of your lives.” It’s so true!
What is your favourite Motivational Quote?
My favorite motivational quote is “Be all that you can be, and when you can’t seem to be anymore… keep trying.”
How can people from all over the world reach you?

Robin shared this information with me, It touched my heart deeply as I could relate to what she was saying.
I’m a mom just like you! On all my social media you’ll see photos of my kids, dogs, humor, inspiration and bitching! I have lots of friends there that love me for who I am! Who can ask for more than a strong family, a strong support system with my projects and great social media friends! Even though I’m dealing with cancer, chemo, the loss of my hair and for that matter integrity… I’m a lucky woman!
Dearest Robin,
Even though you are in the United States and I in South Africa, I am so inspired by you. I appreciate your time speaking to me. I think so many women in my country and all over the world can learn from your strength and untouchable passion for life. I wish you all of the best in attaining every dream you set your mind to. You are truly an Inspirational Woman to me.
Sincerely Sue
