San Fernando Valley BNI (SFVBNI) was honored to host Dr. Ivan Misner at the International Networking Week Special Event held on February 7, 2014, at the Porter Valley Country Club. The event was a great success, with nearly a third of the total membership in San Fernando Valley BNI in attendance, and only three no-shows! In addition, several non-BNI members visited chapters the following week to learn more about BNI. Mark Hill, a Director Consultant in our region, summarized the comments of members and guests:
“I have gone through Directors’ Training at BNI HQ, and I have heard Dr. Misner speak at a number of International Conferences. And once again I am reminded that Dr. Misner is a consummate story-teller, with an ability to tap an emotional response in his listeners that inspires and compels action towards making our businesses more profitable. Applied to Dr. Misner, the title “story-teller” seems rather pedestrian, until we stop to consider what his story-telling accomplishes.
