Jewellery chain F Hinds has opened a new store in Doncaster’s Frenchgate Shopping Centre – its 118th shop in the UK.

The store opened on Thursday, 10 March, with Emily Simpkins, full-time professional midfielder for Doncaster Rovers’ Belles Ladies Football Club, cutting the ribbon to its doors.

The new shop has a seven-strong team, including two employees who transferred from local branches of F Hinds, which includes one of the two under managers, Carol Howson. The other under manager, Debbie Kelly, has joined from another jeweller, while the rest of the team have prior experience working in jewellers.

It will offer stock in line with the company’s other branches, featuring diamond, gold and silver jewellery, watches, clocks, collectibles and giftware, as well as offering repairs, a bespoke design service and ‘gold for cash’.

Andrew Hinds, director of the company and current co-chairman of the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ), said: “We hope that customers in Doncaster will be delighted with the style and quality of our newest store, with its impressive displays of iconic watch and jewellery brands.”
