Green Day, arguably the biggest band making rock music today, are going on tour. But things are different this time; the band is hitting some of the smallest venues they’ve played in over 20 years.
The Oakland pop-punk legends will play club shows at venues like New Jersey’s Starland Ballroom and Boston’s House of Blues to support Revolution Radio. The band recently released the first single from the record, “Bang Bang,” which seems to indicate a move more in the direction of their punk roots. The small venues are sure to bring out the energy of their new songs, as well as the pop-punk classics that the band have been playing for decades now.
