Following on from the strong start with their first delivery, the second part of the seasonal offering reflects a sophisticated and muted approach as we enter the dark winter months.
Highlights include the use of speckled Donegal tweed and faux leather trims on their East London Kings strapbacks and crew sweats. A particularly nice touch being the pocket tie-ins, crew shoulder trims and sleeve returns on the cut and
sew tees.
The Insignia range makes use of a customized floral fabric sourced in Eastern Europe which adornes a selection of different hat silhouettes as well as side paneling on the crew sweat and pocket detail on the burgundy flannel shirt
Caps are once again one of the strongest aspects of Kings delivery, with the Quilted Legacy pack (the first brand worldwide to put out a range of multi coloured diamond quilted pieces) and the Krest Paisley pack across 5 panel camp caps and 6 panel hybrids with suede trim being the most notable standouts.
No filler in this drop at all and one of the strongest line-ups for all discerning streetwear aficionados to check out for this Winter.
ELK (East London Kings) Pack
Representing their spiritual home of East London, the E.L.K (East London King’s) pack takes the best of British fabrics, with the classic sports flip graphic, great cut and sew fits and construction and ties it all up with some of the best hook ups on the market. Three Donegal speckled tweed caps with leather bills, matching crews and hoods with leather trim and tweed accents and cut and sew t-shirts in 230gm side seam construction with leather sleeve returns showcase just what can be achieved with experience, attention to detail and and the right design ethic.

Hunter Quilted Jacket and Shirt
As King Apparel reaches the tail end of its 10thcontinues to evolve, illustrated no more than by their Hunter Shirt and Quilted Jacket pack. The shirt comes in a tailored cut with dual panel construction. Top half in a navy blue cord with black flannel on the bottom half and sleeves. Finished with suede elbow patches this is one for the seasoned streetwear follower. Alongside the shirt is the Hunter jacket. Made with a custom diamond quilted pattern, the jacket is a navy blue flannel down construction, in a bomber style cut featuring top and side opening front pockets and a shawl collar. Insignia Floral Pack
Moving things onto the next level of men’s streetwear the Insignia Pack incorporates everything necessary in developing current streetwear trends into contemporary fashion. 5 hat silhouettes are included with custom Eastern
European floral fabrics, leather trimmings, hickory stripe denim and cracked leather peaks. Cut and sew pocket t-shirts, flannel tailored shirting and a custom cut and sew crew with floral fabric side paneling make up the clothing selection which will have upscale menswear aficionados craning their heads to the best of what streetwear has to offer.

Krest Paisley Caps
With so many hats now flooding the market its hard to filter through the also rans and generic designs which is why King Apparel opted to source some of the most unique fabrics for their 2013 winter line up. The Krest Paisley pack embodies this sentiment with unrivalled quality and construction. The black and green colourways feature on both 5-panel camp caps and 6-panel hybrid constructions, with alternate suede and cotton paneling, leather trims, strapbacks and cracked leather bills. Caps do not come as comprehensive as these. The top line when it comes to headwear.
Legacy Quilted Caps
Innovation has always been the centrepin of King Apparel’s delivery and presence in the streetwear scene and AW13 sees them continue in this vein, putting out product that has never been attempted before. This season we see their Legacy quilted pack that includes four colourways of diamond quilted hats with suede bills. The construction comprises of a foam backing (similar to what you would find on a trucker cap front panel) which has been diamond quilt stitched and then applied to the crown.
