Hola Friends! How was your week?? We are trying to soak up the very last few days of Summer time and loving every minute of it. Have your kids already gone back to School? So many adorable First Day of School photos have been flooding my newsfeed (which I LOVE, btw), but I’m secretly so happy that I have little bit with me until after Labor Day. It’s funny because all of the top posts on Instagram contained lots of the same things…it seems anything with THESE boyfriend jeans, THIS white tee, or THESE heels was a total winner!
I wore this outfit for a dinner date with my little fam. Some nights it’s fun to throw on heels for no reason so that I feel like I don’t live in running tights or a swim coverup. This top is going to be on repeat this Fall. I adore the color and this surplice cross over detail is still big for the coming season.

I also went out to a tapas dinner with the girls this week and planned to wear this outfit (although in the end, I wore these black skinnies). This white tee is amazing and I don’t have to wear a cami underneath. I dressed it up with this statement necklace that I’m obsessing over. It’s actually TWO necklaces (a darling crystal choker + the statement piece) and it was a total hit!

I tried out this Hello Flawless powder from Benefit this week and I absolutely love the finish. It’s not super matte and chalky (my main hang-up with powder) and gives more of a dewey glow! If you are looking for a new finishing powder with some coverage, you should give THIS ONE a try!
You guys know that I am from Louisiana and cannot get over all of the devastation that’s happened there over the past week. With the national media turning a complete blind eye to these catastrophic floods, these poor people (well over 40,000 affected) are returning to homes that are a total loss and only have the clothes on their backs. They are in desperate need of so many things starting with basic necessities.
